Reorganize Accounts by Launch Data Tag

This feature is available exclusively to LoyaltyLoop Premier plan users.

By default, LoyaltyLoop automatically organizes your customer contacts into Accounts based on their email domain. Premier users now have the flexibility to edit this rule and reorganize Accounts using a Launch Data Tag—for example, grouping contacts by sales representative, location, or any custom data point you send to LoyaltyLoop in your customer transaction data.

Follow these steps to update your Account grouping rules:

  1. Navigate to the Customers section of your LoyaltyLoop account.

  2. Click on the Accounts tab at the top of the screen.

  3. Select the Settings icon (gear) on the right-hand side of the page.

  4. In the Account Group Settings window, change the Rule Type from "Email Domain" to "Launch Data Tag".

  5. From the dropdown menu, select the specific Launch Data Tag you wish to use for grouping. 

  6. Click Update Account Groups.

Important Note: Clicking Update Account Groups will reorganize all existing Accounts based on the new rule. This action will overwrite any previous Account groupings created by the email domain rule.
