How to add an opt-out link to emails in LoyaltyLoop
LoyaltyLoop is sending transactional emails to your customers, after they've transacted with your business. These emails are in response to your customer buying from you, and hence are not "unsolicited" emails. Just as an email from you to your customer inquiring about a past-due invoice, transactional emails do not typically include opt-out or unsubscribe links. Furthermore, there are special provisions in legislation, such as the CAN-SPAM Act, that permit businesses to email customers who have done business with you.
However, you can add an opt-out link to any LoyaltyLoop emails should you wish. All email forms provide an option to insert variable data tags and other elements, including an opt-out link. To add the opt-out link, simply edit the email in question, place your cursor where you want the link to appear, then click the Plus (+) drop-down and select "Opt Out Link." When you're done formatting the email, click Save. Now, anytime the customer receives that email from LoyaltyLoop, if they click the opt-out link they'll be automatically added to your LoyaltyLoop opt-out list. To view your opt-out list, go to your Customers tab.
