Why can't I share my testimonials on my Facebook Business page?

One of the great features of LoyaltyLoop's Promoter and Premier Plan is the ability to capture customer testimonials.  LoyaltyLoop gives users the tools to publish these testimonials on your website and share these testimonials on your social media pages.  In regards to Facebook, many users prefer to share these testimonials as posts on their Facebook Business Page.  Those attempting to create a testimonial post sometimes run into a common issue.

Issue: When sharing a customer testimonial from LoyaltyLoop to Facebook, the post appears on your personal Facebook profile instead of your business page.

Why this happens:
  1. Facebook Linkage: Your Facebook Business Page is intrinsically linked to your personal Facebook account
  2. Default Profile: Third-Party applications like LoyaltyLoop default to the active Facebook profile on the device or browser being used.  If there is no active Facebook profile being used, the user must log into their personal Facebook profile.

Solution: Sign into Facebook and switch the identity you are posting as before you share and publish the post.

Here's how:
  1. Sign into your Facebook account using the personal profile associated with your business page.
  2. From the settings menu, select your Business Profile
  3. Now when you share your post to Facebook, you will see the post associated with your business profile.
  4. The testimonial will now be published to your Business Page.
